Savannah Whole-Home Refresh

A brick ranch brought up to date throughout — the primary bathroom stripped out and rebuilt, new flooring end to end, fresh paint, and a new deck across the back.

A remodelled primary bathroom with a freestanding tub, glazed shower and a glass-block window.

The house was sound and well built. What it needed was consistency — flooring that ran the same from the entry through to the bedrooms, walls the same colour on both sides of a doorway, and a primary bathroom that matched the rest of it.

New plank flooring was laid across the whole plan, which is what makes the house read as one house rather than a set of rooms decorated in different decades. Paint followed, inside and out of every closet and reveal.

The bathroom is the piece worth stopping on, and it is the one room that came out entirely. Taken back to the studs and rebuilt: a freestanding tub against full-height tile, a glazed walk-in shower with a mosaic band, a new vanity, and a custom geometric floor that carries from the vanity through to the shower threshold.

At the back, a new deck steps down into the garden — pressure-treated, turned railings, wide enough to put a table on.
